How Bankroll works
Bankroll App is a tracker for the money you bet. It is run by Queen Ventures LLC. You enter your bets, and the app keeps the books. It doesn't place bets, take deposits, connect to sportsbook accounts, or give picks.
The math
- A win at positive odds pays
stake × odds ÷ 100. A win at negative odds paysstake × 100 ÷ |odds|. A loss costs the stake. A push returns it. - Your bankroll moves only when a bet is settled. Open bets never count as profit.
- You can't log a stake bigger than your free bankroll: what you have, minus what's already on open bets.
- Parlays multiply each leg's decimal odds. Any losing leg loses the parlay. A pushed leg drops out and the odds recalculate.
- Win rate leaves out pushes. ROI is profit ÷ total settled stakes. Straight bets and parlays are reported separately.
Where the data comes from
- Game list and odds: The Odds API (free plan). Odds refresh a few times a day; always confirm the price in your book.
- Scores: public scoreboards, delayed, not live play-by-play.
- News: public sports headline feeds.
Fair play
Challenge bets and shared picks must be logged before kickoff. The server stamps the time, locks the pick at kickoff, and grades it from final scores. Nobody can mark their own Challenge or shared bet as a win.
